Our Commitment

Members of MRA are committed to implementing all national, state, and local laws governing recycling. We work with our legislators and law enforcement officials, and we fully cooperate in prosecuting perpetrators of metal theft. If your material does not belong to you, do not bring it to us. We don't want it.

What to Do if You Are a Victim of Metal Theft

If you believe you have been the victim of metal theft, here are some steps that you can take to assist in finding your material and the people who may have stolen it:

  • File a police report with the appropriate agency.
  • Gather any identifying information specific to the stolen material, if applicable (e.g., VIN numbers or serial numbers).
  • Law enforcement can then utilize the various reporting tools available to them to trace your material to see if it may have come to a scrap yard in Mississippi.
